Poland Summer/ Winter A land which has been sleeping, purely, deeply, quietly
December 2001, I visited Poland where I had been passionately interested in.
I felt warmth from silent snowfields which had covered a biting land
This was a foreign country which I had never seen. I stepped into a country that had lost itself a long time ago.
Excitement ran through my body
Summer 2003, Second visit. It was really humid and hot, this I never expected.
I travelled to Krakow, Zakopane and Gdansk, I had never been to these places before.
The land that had woken up and was full of energy, energy that was dormant in winter.
It showed in the depth of colours in the nature.
